Several leading members and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have appeared at court in solidarity with the party’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, as proceedings continue in a case involving an alleged GH¢30 million financial loss linked to the Export-Import Bank of Ghana (EXIM Bank).
The NPP figures were at the court as discussions surrounding a possible plea arrangement involving Chairman Wontumi and the prosecution came under consideration.
