A father has appealed to authorities for assistance in locating his two children after he reportedly lost contact with them despite a District Court ruling granting him custody.
According to reports, the man has been unable to establish the whereabouts of the children since the court delivered its judgment in his favour, raising concerns about their welfare and safety.
The father said he expected the children to be handed over to him in accordance with the court order but has so far been unsuccessful in locating them.
He has reportedly made several attempts to enforce the ruling and reunite with the children but has been unable to establish contact with either them or their current caregiver.
The case has drawn attention to challenges surrounding the enforcement of custody rulings in family court matters, particularly where parties fail to comply with judicial decisions.
The father is now calling on social welfare authorities, security agencies and other relevant institutions to intervene and help enforce the court’s directive.
He said he hopes the intervention of state authorities will enable him to reunite safely with his children and ensure compliance with the court’s decision.
No immediate response was available from the children’s current caregiver or the relevant authorities.
