NPP’s Abronye DC remanded for two weeks for threatening Judges

The Accra Circuit Court has ordered the re-arrest and two-week remand of Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, a leading member of NPP
He is facing charges of false publication, causing fear and panic, and issuing threats against judges of the Adenta Circuit Court through statements made on his YouTube platform, Ohia TV.
The court directed that Abronye DC be taken into custody pending further investigations and legal proceedings.
The development follows concerns over comments made on the Ohia TV channel which prosecutors say could undermine public confidence in the judiciary and threaten judicial officers.
Further proceedings are expected when he reappears before the court after the two-week remand period.
