FC Barcelona was crowned champions of Spain after a 2-0 win over their bitter rivals Real Madrid.
Coming into this game 11 points clear, Barcelona needed a win to secure the title and they had to do it against Los Blancos at the Camp Nou. Real Madrid were suffering from chronic problems in the dressing room, from an alleged fight between Tchouameni and Valverde, to numerous altercations between Kylian Mbappe and the coaching staff. There was no unity in the team prior to this game and it showed clearly in the game from start to finish. Just 9 minutes into the Classico, Marcus Rashford showed why he deserves a spot in this Barça team next season after scoring a wonderful free kick to give the Blaugrana the lead. Ferran Torres scored the second goal in the night, showing real striker instinct and exceptional positional awareness.
In the second half, Barcelona continued to dominate the game whilst Real Madrid showed no clear intent of scoring or creating a chance.
